How do we physically experience our increasingly virtual environment? What materiality and corporeality should be considered in encounters that are not immediately corporeal? Does the distance between the experience and its place need to be overcome, or does it hold the potential for new meaning? What do current modes of spectator immersion look like in the performing arts? What is the relationship between technology and the embodied experience of surrounding reality?
