Open call for art projects for FaVU gallery.
The project can be submitted by any student, teacher or people disconnected from FaVU or never connected with FaVU, the exhibition project will then be prepared collectively with the guarantors/curators of the challenge based on common discussions, starting points and relationships of the works and ideas behind them.
Open call emphasizes two possible lines of inquiry: exploring the utopian potential of communal coexistence and real queer existence in a rural environment, or emphasizing the integration of contemporary biology’s insights into the queer nature of the existence of different life formswith an artistic perspective.
Artistic collaborations with other disciplines will be welcomed, e.g. with social anthropologists/anthropologists in the case of the former, and with biologists/biologists in the case of the latter. The exhibition will be timed to coincide with Brno Pride Week and exhibitions in other Brno galleries (Cejla, Záázrak, Vašulka Kitchen) presenting queer art.
