The Bakala Foundation has decided to enter its second decade of collaboration with the London Design Museum.
During the first ten years of cooperation, the Bakala Foundation contributed nearly 12, 4 million euro. Zdeněk and Michaela Bakala Family Foundation to the activities of the Design Museum in London, the largest museum of modern design and architecture in the world, primarily to develop its exhibition, publication and educational activities. In collaboration with the Design Museum in London and the Kaplicky Centre Foundation, the Bakala Foundation also organises the prestigious Kaplicky Internship competition in the Czech Republic, which enables Czech architecture students to undertake a three-month fully-funded internship at one of the world’s leading architecture studios.
