A Place at the Royal Table

The cooperation project A Place at the Royal Table born of a need to share the European Heritage with citizens. This Heritage is not only a built Heritage, but it is also an immaterial Heritage composed of Histories, places, people, traditions, sounds, tastes which contributed to create the Europe we currently know. The royal residences symbolize the milestones of Europe and, in a context of rapid mutations, they have a role to play as actor of the change, stimulating the social inclusion and the economic development. This can only be done putting the audience at the center of the creative process and reinforcing the European sense of belonging.It is on these basis that the project A Place at the Royal Table is organized. The project aims, through an European calendar of participatives activities, to tell the European history through the story of its cuisine, its tastes and its traditions which come from the European exchanges and which symbolize a territory open an permeable.
